Shellac Manicure / Pedicure - £30 / £35
Producing 14+ day wear, mirror shine and zero drying time.
Treat yourself to a mini-manicure/pedicure with Shellac Polish - polish is applied to the nail and cured under a low energy UV lamp. Like a coat of armour for the nails, the result is a perfect gloss finish that lasts up to two weeks without chipping.
Aftercare: How To Make your Shellac Nails Last!
Shellac can last flawlessly, with normal wear and tear, for at least 14 days. Be sure to wear gloves if you're doing tough jobs like household cleaning or gardening, hobbies that are rough on your hands or when using harsh chemicals. Doing these things without protection can harm your shellac polish.
Avoid using suntan oils or insect repellent on your nails, as many contain solvent oils which will cause damage to the Shellac colour coat. Some of the more delicate Shellac colours can fade in chlorinated water and excessive sun (remember chlorine is a bleach and sun intensifies the bleaching action). Dry your hands and nails after swimming and before sunbathing to minimize any colour fading. Use cuticle oil and moisturise daily to replace lost moisture to your skin and nails.
How To Remove Your Polish.
If you want to remove the polish yourself you need to use acetone (not nail polish remover) to dissolve the polish. Just soak a cotton pad in acetone, place on the nail and wrap your fingertip or toe in tin foil. After approximately 10-15 minutes the polish will have dried. Gently push the polish off the nail using an orange stick - Do not use a metal tool or scrape the polish off as this will damage your nails.
Nail treatments are carried out using CND Vinylux Polish , a superior formula which provides high-shine, week-long wear and dries in 8.5 minutes. Both the Vinylux colour coat and weekly top coat contain photo initiators that react to natural light, causing the product to get harder and tougher over time. Polish is also available to purchase.
